This is then Danish Prime Minister, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, whose government was responsible for making Denmark an occupying power in Iraq for four years. (For this criminal act, he was later kicked upward to become NATO's Secretary-General).
I had been to Iraq (see Gallery) in 2002 and 2003 and felt strongly that this was Denmark's largest foreign policy blunder in modern times.
So, I took a photo of him at a meeting in Copenhagen and placed it on top of an image I shot in 2002 at the oldest cultural café in the world, Shah Bender, in the old town of Baghdad.
It was time, I thought, for this ignorant man to be in touch with the Iraqi people and culture.
